For CRT me and my team made a water park based on Tane Mahuta. In our water park you can buy a snow cones for 2$. Some of the swimmers even talk to you- Some boys in the changing also talk to you!
Wonder
I think wonder is a great story for 10+. You get to understand what all the characters are thinking and find out how they are feeling as well. (Spoiler alert) I found it so sad when Daisy died and and I felt mad when Jack was talking about August behind his back. Its amazing and incredible at the same time and I just can’t find other words to explain it. I definitely recommend it.

Today we did Aboriginal dot art using our hand print and symbols. Mine has a river because I love water.

In chapters 63-86 its about Via’s life. So far we learnt that Via’s grandmother has died and her and two of her friends have gone separate ways. Via also goes by Olivia at school. I made a choose kind poster and a drawing of Via.

In Wonder, August loves Star Wars so I made a google drawing of R2-D2 and of Luke Skywalker’s light-saber.

This is my second pattern made out of triangles and rectangles and frames. It reminds me of a net for a 3 d shape.

So far in the story Wonder, we found out that August was born with only one eye. He had been home schooled for most of his life but now they are sending him to school. August has recently meet students Charlotte, Julian and Jack and they have showed him around the school. Julian is a bit mean and can’t remember a lot of stuff, Charlotte is a chatterbox and Jack is kind is what I think from reading the text so far.
This is a letter to August’s Mum and Dad that I have written to not send him to school.
Dear Mum and Dad,
I would not like to go to school because people could be mean to me. I’m pretty sure nobody would want to be my friend. I still don’t understand why I can’t go to Via’s school. If I could, Via could protect me as well as hang out with me. Or mum could home school me like she has been. What if people gang up on me or they spread rumors about my eye. Also who would want a head teacher with such a silly name like Mr. Tushman. I think I will dread going to school because nobody thinks I’m ordinary. You can’t really send me to school.
